Hello all,
I'm currently using the Google Pixel 8 Pro with the Switch Up option.
The Pixel 9 series is coming out with an extra model. The 8 series has two phones: the Pixel 8 and the Pixel 8 Pro. The 9 series will include the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 XL.
With the Switch Up option, I was expecting to upgrade to the 9 Pro. However, with the new addition, the 9 Pro seems like a downgrade compared to the 8 Pro. The XL model seems to be the proper upgrade from the 8 Pro. Do you think we'll be able to upgrade to the 9 Pro or the 9 XL?
All the best
Tansu

You can got to whatever you want, there are no restrictions on what you upgrade to... just watch the keynote in a couple of weeks and see what catches your fancy

Yes you will be, when depends on what Google announce on the 15th August, and when pre-orders open.. Just make sure its 90days since your last switch up, and if doing in store (which I advise) you pay the £50 deposit)

I have a similar issue, they told me in February this year that I can upgrade next month, I want either a Pixel 8 or a Samsung Galaxy 23, however, I'm still about 21 months shy of paying off my current contract.
What can I do?

As this thread is about switch up you can upgrade every 90 days.
If not, pay up what you owe first.
