Switch from Personal to Business Account - not a simple how too....

Anonymous
Not applicable

I am 2 months into a personal contract with o2 and have a samsung s3.  I have joined a new company and been given a blackberry on o2.

I want to have just one phone (the samsung s3) and one phone contract - is this possible?

Options I'm aware of:

Cancel the personal account (pay 22 months line rental at £36 p/m - no thanks)

Put the business sim card into my samsung S3 - fine but then I'm left still paying my personal contract.

Can I move my personal account over to a business account?  I don't need to keep my personal number.  I've been told you have to wait until you are half way through your term. I called this morning and was told that's not the case (until I got cut off after being on hold for 20 mins).

Has anyone experienced this before.  Once I've moved my personal account over to the business account, I can then re-allocate the business account to some one else or cancel just one handset from our business account.

Unfortunately I believe your stuck paying for your personal account.

Could you speak to your new company and put forward the idea of supplementing your contract? It's what I do for one of my guys. It saves me the extra cost and actually works out cheaper for me.
Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong. So Ive been told wink
