Hello,

I have 2 O2 Sims:

Sim1: 07748****** (24 month contract)

Sim2: 07712****** (pay as you go)

Is it possible to swap the number, so that:

Sim1: 07712****** (24 month contract)

Sim2: 07748****** (pay as you go)

Indeed.

OP can move the postpay number to P&G but will cancel the contract (poss incur term fees)

Or can move the P&G number to contract, but will then have to get a new pay and go sim and number. But not both.

Hello,

Welcome to the forum.

We are all customers here so we cannot process this for you.

You could try to complete the process online.  Here is the link: http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk/

Although it may not be possible to swap

It cant harm speaking to o2 on 202 to get official clarification tho.

Edit : a swapmysim process moves your current mobile number and tariff on one sim card to another sim card. This is if your wanting to use another handset that takes a different sized sim from the one your currently using.

Apologies for the confusion.

Please follow BoB's advise to contact O2 Customer Services as they will be able to tell you if it is possible to swap.

No I'm afraid this wouldn't be possible, by moving your number from one place to another it removes that number and disconnects it.

I've never asked anybody to process this for me, I was just wondering if that wold be allowed from O2.

The link provided is wrong. This is just to migrate your 3G sim to a 4G one.

This would not be easy.

You would need to ask for the contract to be transfered onto a payg account and they would only do this fee free if your contract term was concluded.

and then upgrade the payg account to a contract account.

Only CS on 202 can do this,

Dont use live chat !

Hi acecco01,

The link is for all sim swapping processes - not just for 3G to 4G.

As advised by other members, the best option for you is to contact O2 Customer Services and see what you can do.

The contact details are on the bottom of this page.
