Split port issue since joining O2 from Three, customer service extremely unhelpful

Hi, 

 

Since joining O2 where my number was ported over on the 30th May, I can make outbound calls and text, but can't receive any text or calls.

 

I've made a point of calling Customer service almost daily and they are extremely unhelpful and are only able to give vague updates such as 'the back office are looking into it' or telling me to turn my phone on and off again. Promises of Managers calling me on an alternative number are never made and I've had no luck trying to get a response from emails too. 

 

This is a real problem for me, as I need to use the SMS service to authenticate a number of bank accounts, and have to be able to receive calls from school, work and family members. 

 

I've just completely hit a brick wall with O2, and extremely close to cancelling my contract and starting again somewhere else.   It's been over 2 weeks since I have received a text or call.

 

Any o2 staff able to are welcome to contact me on here to help please.

There are lots of problem with number ports at the minute @Katkins26 but that doesn't excuse how you have been dealt with.

Let's see if the community advisors can fix this - can you get in touch @O2nath_ci or @O2Emma ?
I asked this earlier in the week, but any chance we can see if there are wider porting issues @Martin-O2 or @Chris_K ?

My partner has had the same problem for 2 weeks now and no one is willing to help and her business is being affected big time as she's a carer for the elderly please let me know if you got this sorted

Hi, I have the same problem, my wife and I moved from three to 02, my wife can't receive Text or incoming calls, I have phoned 02 customer service 4 times they said they will call me back but nothing!!! I even went into a 02 shop, but the assistant manager told me they  couldn't do anything and told me not to come back to the shop! Customer service eh!! This has been going on for 3 weeks! I'm at my wits end! Wished I stayed with Three, my next move will have to be Trading Standards
