Hi, for the 100GB 18 month Pay Monthly SIM only plan, could someone please confirm what the data speeds are with regards to fair use?
I came across this document linked on the Fair Use Policy pages:
https://www.o2.co.uk/sites/default/files/2017-07/traffic_management.pdf
I might be misreading this, but it seems like once I get to 40GB of my 100GB data allowance, the speed available to me will immediately drop in half, and it'll only get worse until I am in the bracket of 60GB to 100GB where it'll be an eighth of the speed?

I can't say exactly what speeds you'll get and I guess it will vary by location too, but, my teenage daughter is on that tariff and has never complained about speed,, so it can't be that bad

Thanks. Have they ever gone over 40GB though?
Still interested in the official answer though

I'm on the 100GB tariff and have just gone over 40GB. I've not checked the actual speed but I'm still tethering the laptop and watching Prime Video on the TV without any issues. My normal 4G speeds rarely go above 18Mb at home.
