Sony Xperia Z1 Compact Problem On O2

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hello
Just going to try and keep it quick and short well basically I bought a Sony xperia z1 compact simfree so meaning I can use any sim card I want to...
What has happened ever since I updated the software via Sony website it don't accept any of the o2 carriers or itself it won't take Giffgaff...lyca...o2

But for some weird reason it takes three and ee and orange

I've been up and down shops from where I got it from Argos and my local o2 shop no one could help so I finally got upset with the fact it always seems to happen with sony phones I finally sold it and ended up buying a moto 4g
Couldn't b bothered to invest anymore in expensive phones

Well that's about it if anyone knows how to fix it let me know because I sold it to my cousin

Thanks

Take it back to argos as it's faulty you must have a dispatch note or something

If it's from Argos he would definitely have had a receipt, a delivery note and a bank statement from which Argos can trace the invoice and send a copy.

It's serialised, it does not need a receipt.
It needs a proof of purchase and with argos, they scan serial numbers into stock and as sales
All they have to do is enter the serial number for a proof of purchase history.

Help link :

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/StaticDisplay/includeName/ReturnsAndRefunds.htm

"If you have an Internet order query, please Email Customer services or call us on 0345 640 2020."

But if your cousin is using it on a Network they use and you've not lost money on the sale, then I'd let it go and carry on enjoying life. slight_smile

As lifeishard logged out shortly after he posted and has not been back, I am not sure he has seen any of our replies trying to help him?....

Maybe he's gone to look for his receipt wink
