I have just got a new pay monthly phone and need to transfer my number but I need the sim number from my new sim card that begins with 89441100 but there isn't one there. Where can I find it?

Either printed on the SIM card or on a barcode on the SIM packaging.

It should either be on the sim card itself or the carrier that you popped it out of. Possibly on the packet it came in too.

I've recently got a new contract sim card and I got told that my number would stay the same, It's saying "unknown number" when I try to look at my number and it's not sending texts or letting me check my credit, I've been on the phone to customer services twice now and they haven't really helped me out, I was wondering if anyone here has any advice? If anyone can email me (PM for address) I'd be very greatful, Thank you.

Your contract needs to be switched over to your new SIM. CS know this and it can take upto 24 hours so if you have been on to CS you need to wait for the transfer to take place.

Keep switching the phone off and on at regular intervals until you get the network registering.
