Signal drops out

I swapped my sim on Christmas Day when I moved to an iPhone 12 and a 5G SIM card. Since then my signal is erratic at best. My signal drops out all the time, I can’t make or receive calls. I spoke to O2 customer services and they sent me a new SIM card but it’s still the same. I spoke to Apple who said it’s not the phone. What do I do now? My phone only works on wifi, it’s barely a phone at this point.

Thanks, I’ve switched 5G off and put it on 4G which is something the Apple customer service told me to do. I’ve done all the troubleshooting from both O2 and Apple and it’s still not working. It’s not just the data it’s calls and messages as well.

No network faults and never had a problem with signal where I live.

Thanks so much for helping.

@MI5 yeah it’s at the shops and when I go out for walk. All places I’ve never had problems with signal before.

@CR87

I'll ask @O2Lisa to check over your account etc for you.

She'll be on in the morning so look out for a message from her then.
