Maybe if will all speak up  they will be banned. Speak up people!!!!!!! and letS get it sorted.  I hate scammers soooooooooooooooo mmmmmmuuuuuchhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I am talking about shortcode numbers I myself have received several from ppi and or injury claims which I didn't ask for when I contact o2 they tell me to send stop which I do but that then charges me o2 have always refunded the charges so not a major issue but if they stop doing that then as far as I'm concerned they are making money for themselves by advising customers to send stop and then charging them

Don't send stop for god sake. All that's been achieved is telling the spammers the numbers active you'll get bombarded much more frequently because of it.

I get them myself, modern phones have a beautiful function called delete. I suggest you use it. I'm sure everyone has greater things in life than to worry about unsolicited messages.

You have already had a full answer to this, it cannot be done.

With all respect Perskie I haven't had an answer from o2 so I don't think your statement is really correct And I don't believe it cant be done more like o2 don't want to do it.  Liquid if what your saying is correct why do o2 advise to send stop?

Your right it can be done but I'm not footing the bill for it haha.

I've never met an advisor who told me to send stop. Your the first person I've met that has been told as such.

you won't get an official statement on here sorry.

Sorry I wasn't trying to say you were lying:(

Just think that the advisor is incorrect in what they have told you.

Was it online by any chance?

I honestly do get where your coming from but I can't justify the extra money needed to implement such a service. If anything I think I'm paying too much as it is haha. If I have to deal with the odd message ill just have to live with it:(

Defiantly hardly ever bother to use online chat as none of them seem to know what they are talking about so was probably incorrect advice given to me
