Hi,

I recently paid off my device plan and have been looking at changing my tariff,

I always run out of data so I need a plan with more,

on my o2 my best option (without spending much more) is 4gb, unlimited text and unlimited calls for £21.05/month

but on o2 I could order a new sim with 12gb data, unlimited text and unlimited calls for £17/month

Do I have to cancel my existing contract in order to get a new contract with the new sim offer?

many thanks in advance!

Charlotte

You don't have to cancel anything if you choose to upgrade to a sim only plan.

I presume you are keeping your current device?

Hi,

Yes, I am keeping my device,

When I am logged on to Myo2 I get 5 options to change tariff - none of these are good deals,

It just looks as if I am buying a whole new contract from the website with a new sim, I'm just not sure if it links up with the existing account?

If I order a new sim and contract, will my existing contract end?

Many thanks - sorry if I sound a bit thick...

Charlotte

You are looking in the wrong place.

You want to upgrade, not change tariff.

If your My O2 is up to date you should see the option to upgrade. ...these options 'should' include sim only.

Ah thank you!

I thought that upgrade only applied to the device plan - ihave gone through the SIM only upgrade and selected an even better option!

All sorted, thank you @Cleoriff  and @MI5
