Service in Cornwall

I have recently opted for an O2 system but find there is no service in Fowey and no explanation in fact nothing to indicate that the service is going to be available.   Is there going to be a service or should I change network. Views appreciated

Re: Service in Cornwall

No one on here will know the answer to that.
You should always check coverage with a PAYG sim card before committing to a contract though.... on any network.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Re: Service in Cornwall

How long have you had the contract (is it a contract), and where did you sign up to it? You might be within the 'cooling off period' and can cancel.

Info may be here for you. You don't wanna be stuck on a 24 month contract with no signal!

Re: Service in Cornwall

I would be looking at trying P&G sims but there is a problem in your area....

Re: Service in Fowey

Still waiting to get O2 coverage reinstated in Fowey - does it really take this long for the 'third party' to fix a phone mast? !

Re: Service in Fowey

Waiting for a 3rd party could potentially take much longer than waiting for in house engineers.
It would imply that O2 have no access rights to the mast or it may be owned by another network and shared by O2.
