moved from Three to maintain roaming data in Europe on a pay monthly tariff with 12G service and been cut off whilst travelling n Crete after using less than 4G only. WTF

Perhaps you'll pick up a usable signal if you switch down to 2G/3G and manually select from available carriers, @Twilzip - Guide: Roaming MegaGuide

Sorry-I meant only used 4G GByte of the 12 allocated so not sure why I’ve been told that I’ve used all my roaming data

Has your data been cut-off, or just restricted, @Twilzipn? Check your SIM is firmly in-place, as per guidance here: Guide: How can I sort out my network issues?
