Its been almost a month since i sent the phone back, i sent in back the day after i recieved it as it was faulty, and o2 still havent updated my account or even acknowledged that theyve recieved the return, what should i do? - no it wasnt sent via recorded delivery, it was the standard delivery that they provided.

@Richard1

You need to contact customer services and see where it is

https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

They have had more than long enough to scan it back into the system..

I agree. Way longer than it should have taken to scan it back into the system. I spoke with the online chat, and they still have no idea that i was even returning it! even though they sent out the packaging to put it in! ridiculous to say the least

Online chat are pretty useless with this type of thing. You should call from the link above and speak to customer Services directly.

Only then will you get someone to look into this for you.

They are open now so give them a call. (even if you have to borrow a phone to do so)

Edited to add you can call customer service from any phone on 0800 032 1402

Call rather than rely on chat. Wonder if this affects the cooling off period considering it’s O2 who have messed up on this

Thats what im thinking. I literally had the phone in my possession for 1 day (as waiting for the bag to send back) but i can almost 100% say ill be charged for the first month. and they'll try to say something about the 14 day return policy.

spoke to them via the phone, they said it was on the system as actually being return already, and had no idea why it hasnt been marked down on my account yet. but yet online services didnt even have it down as the process even beginning. Think this will almost definitely be my last contract with o2 if the customer services are this useless.

A pity you didn't get a certificate of posting.

However give customer services a call now to get the ball rolling @Richard1
