Hi, I just bought an O2 data sim card for a home broadband service, using a hub. This was in Coventry. While in the shop I was asked to provide details for setting up an account. However, when I get home and am asked to set up my O2 account and register for first time, I enter my email address and it refuses to register me saying 'that email address is already used, please try another'. I repeat I am a first time customer for O2. So I used my brother's who happens to live at same address, just to get access. Is this ok? Or will I have to change everything over again?

The email address is just to login, so it doesn't matter which one you use.
Any communications from O2 will also go to that email.
It sounds like the shop already set you up but maybe they should have emailed you a temporary password to use with your email address to login, however, no matter now.

If you registered in store you dont need to re-register.
You need to go to get a new password, as an existing user
This is as I thought, however, it seems the temporary password was not emailed to the customer.
Anyway, it matters not now as the customer is registered and can always change their username if required, in future.
