Hi all, i want to move to O2 pay monthly from another network. I find easy to select the Pay Monthly offer and pay, but i am not sure about retaining my number. shall I buy the package and then contact them to make the switch? I will opt in for e-sim. does it change anything?  how should I proceed? i don't see particular clarity or support about it. i was asked by the chat bot to open the app and register, but i have got lost there as i am not a customer now.

@PLON19

You just need your PAC and give that to the new network.

Simple process.

Guide: How to get your PAC [June 2021 Update]

Guide: Cancelling Your Contract - same process for all networks. Your old contract ends once your number ports out.

esim makes no difference at all.

eSIM - How to activate

@PLON19 You need to get your PAC from your current provider in order to move your number. See the guide below:

Unless you really need one, an esim is not a great idea. You're probably better off with a physical plastic sim.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
