hi,

 

I am on an o2 contract in the UK phoning a friend who is in Bulgaria, will this charge me or come under my unlimited minutes?

Just dial their uk number as normal.

If your friend has a uk mobile it won't cost you but if a Bulgaria mobile or landline you will be charged http://international.o2.co.uk/internationaltariffs/calling_abroad_from_uk

As explained above by @MI5. Your calls to them will ONLY be free if your friend is using  UK mobile or landline. If they live in Bulgaria and have a landline or mobile purchased in that country then you will still be charged..

@AnonymousLet me give you an example currently relevant to me. My husband has flown to Spain this week taking his UK mobile with him. If I phone him from my mobile to his mobile it's free. If I phone him on the landline in the Spanish apartment.... it will cost me.
