Apple are correct. They only give a years warranty on their phones unless you take out Apple Care after 12 months. If you have phone insurance from another company I can't see why they (the insurers) are creating a problem in all honesty?

But if it can be proven that it's a manufacturing fault, Apple are still liable regardless of their inferior warranty.

Not entirely. O2 still have a responsibility as the supplier of the product.

The clause to argue with o2 is that it didn't last a reasonable length of time. They must look repair or replace. You could argue this with apple also, but they didn't sell you the product.

I love the confidence Apple have in their products by only giving a 12 month warranty . Any other of the big name phone manufacturers have so little faith?
