Paid my bill for this month, but it's still asking me to pay?

Hey guys, this is my first time with a pay monthly contract and I'm a bit confused by a few things!

I got my bill of 14 quid today, so payed it no problem with my card. Only for it to tell me after that the 14 pound is still due and that it'll be taken out with direct debit in a few days? Will it charge me twice?

Thanks.

As long as you have a clear 5 working days before the DD is due to take on the payment due date you should be fine. Payment won't show up on your account until midnight.

Hi

If your worried then speak to Customer Services and they'll officially clarify things for you.

To add ~ its probably best practice to just let the Direct Debit take place. No confusion - just a clean and simple payment method.

It sounds like it will be taken twice if it is only a few days away, but it means you will be in credit so won't pay anything next month.
If a DD is set up it's normal to just leave it to run it's own course.

The original post states they got the bill today and as due date is 14 days after the DD shouldn't take.

Yep, should be OK, but not the end of the world for £14 if not.....
