On wednesday 1st of may i used the online form to use the PAC code i received from virgin media to transfer my number to my new O2 sim. It has been a week despite the form saying 2 business days and i am still waiting for my number to transfer. The next billing date for the virgin tariff is soon and i don't fancy having to pay another month now that i have my new phone.

@Ultor Unless you received a text confirming a transfer date, it didn't go through.

Either send the form again https://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-sims-and-devices/how-to-keep-your-mobile-number or call customer service. http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@Ultor  As it's been so long, you might want to speak to Virgin and ask them to issue you with a new PAC and go through the process again.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Your PAC is valid for 30 days so if you've had it less than that it will still work and a new one cannot be generated.

I know from experience that porting a number from Virginmedia can prove difficult but if you haven't received any notification from O2 then you need to call them as your request has not reached the porting team.

I don't know how they are with PAC Codes but I would avoid them at all costs from personal experience.

They put a default on my credit report for not clearing the charges when i cancelled in a 14 day cooling down period.

I made them give me £50.00 I was obviously not happy about the situation which they did and their credit team removed it from my report.
