PAC code sent 2 days and still no hope!

My partner has recently moved from Vodafone to 02 and wanted to keep his number , we were told this wouldn't be a problem however we've had nothing but problems! The PAC code has been sent to 02 and it's still not working, when I call his old number it goes straight to Vodafone voicemail! It's becoming very frustrating now and calling up never seems to help because the person says it will be sorted but then it never is !

Just because you give the PAC code to o2 doesnt transfer the number immediately, and Vodafone can reject the porting request , all you can do is give the PAC code to o2 again, and ask them to escalate and provide and update. 

You will get a port date from o2 when you submit the PAC code.

The fact that he's recently suffered a heart attack and should be keeping stress levels to a minimum is causing me to want to cancel both contracts and start over ! Why does it seem that something so simple has become a huge pain in the behind , we just need the number changed !

My prayers last night seems to have worked . Problem has been fixed overnight the correct number now works , thanks anyway 👍🏼
