Hi,

I was recently on holiday and have been overcharged on 02 Travel.

I was informed that it was once every 24hours and have been charged twice within that time frame for example the 22nd and 23rd October.

My bill is incredibly high yet my husband who is also 02 can roam for free whilst in Americe so why have I been charged so much?

Please revert back

@SEnglish

This looks like something you’d need to call O2’s customer service team about – give them a call on 202  or 0344 809 0202 (or specific Payment management number -0800 902 0217 )

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Your husband may have "O2 Travel Inclusive" enabled or as a bolt-on on his account, which permits 120mins of talk and some degree of "free" cellular data (at about 0.5kbps speed sadly) in the USA.

You may have "O2 Travel" (without the "Inclusive") enabled or as a bolt-on on your account, which means you get charged £6 per 24hrs for use of your cellular functions, starting from when you first switch on the phone in the USA, @SEnglish.

Guide: O2 Contract with O2 Travel Inclusive (75 Free Countries) and (33 x ¬£4.99 per day Countries) - available free on certain tariffs, as a bolt-on on some other tariffs, a (small charge) paid bolt-on on what's left, or free if you are a VM/O2 customer with a Volt activated account.
