O2 payg sim not verified

can any 1 help ._....I just bought o2 payg sim , set up my icloud account etc on my iphone 4s an my imessage isnt workin .It wont verify my number,saying cannot connect to server, but it verifies if i use my email ?/??

I've asked for your post to be moved to the main help boards.


Go into settings,messages,send and receive.

Make sure theirs a tick next to your mobile number and email address where it says Can be reached at by iMessage and also where it says Start a conversation From.

Your Apple ID should be at the top in blue.

If that's their then follow the tips in the links and also try toggling off iMessage in settings,message and wait for activation.

If still no joy make an appointment here http://www.apple.com/uk/retail/geniusbar/ and they will take a look for you. If you don't have an apple store nearby then seek help from a Guru in your local O2 shop.

Also have you put credit on your sim card?  Maybe the sim isnt activated.
