Any one else had problems with O2 taking money from your bank account by mistake?
We had nearly £700 withdrawn by them and are basically being fobbed off,was told refund was being returned yesterday.
Small claims court should probably do it.
Any advice?

@Lamby you could make a complaint using Resolver https://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain but I'll tag @EmilieT first to see if there is anything that can be done from here.

Hi,yes did think of using them but they are probably subsidised by O2.
Small claims court totally impartial, only costs £60 that O2 will have to pay when we win 😀

Hi,it was a new contract for my wife,O2 totally messed it up. They admitted it now gone very quiet again, sayin complaints are looking into it. Been going on since october.
It's my money and will probably get bank charges now cuz of this. O2 customer for 15 years, will obviously be going to a different network once this is resolved.

@Lamby I'm sorry to hear that. From what you are saying I understand you have already put a Complaint through then? Unfortuantely if that's the case I might not be able to find out much more. If you haven't though, you can take a look at the message I sent you and we'll see what we can do on our end!

@Lamby If your bank charges you, you should recover those losses too. Have you informed your bank of the issue?
Once this does get resolved, by all means find another network. It's the only thing O2 really understands. Just make sure that the network you choose has decent coverage in the places you frequent most. No point in leaving out of anger if a new network can't provide a good service.
