O2 owe us nearly £700.00

Any one else had problems with O2 taking money from your bank account by mistake?
We had nearly £700 withdrawn by them and are basically being fobbed off,was told refund was being returned yesterday.
Small claims court should probably do it.
Any advice?

Yes.... But they have before.... Said we would be refunded this week.... Still waiting.

Received call....more delay tactics .... Said been sending emails to wrong address,even though O2 email our bill every month.....
Still waiting on emails and refund.
Starting to apply for court proceedings tomorrow.

I'm assuming you cancelled the direct debit to prevent any further money being taken?

As they've taken to full amount already they're unlikely to take anymore.

My wife took out a new contract...they cancelled the new contract instead of the old sim only contract and took out The entire cost of the new contract monthly payments (24 months)... Absolutely clueless....been going on since October.
Apparently going to take 15 working days for refund to go through.... But that happened before and didn't receive refund.
