For one, don't send customers emails stating
"important news about your device tariff" when you mean "Airtime plan"

A bit poor!. I have never had a Refresh contract but even so, I know the difference between device and airtime and would find that very confusing.....:smileysad:

Just in case anybody stumbles across this thread in search on info about the price change, everything is here http://www.o2.co.uk/prices
I was a bit surprised myself yesterday when an email popped up about my device plan payment, and I'd hoped that I was being offered an unexpected discount, haha! Bit of a mismatch between the subject and content of the email...oops.

Interesting link @Wa10. It gives you an option to find out what your tariff price will be after April 1st. What happens I wonder to those (like myself) who took out a sim only plan which offered a 50% discount for the first 6 mths? My tariff is £18 a month. It will go up to £18.46...so will I be paying £9.23 until the 6month discount ends? No big deal as it's only pence...but.....

Exactly that @Cleoriff, the increase applies to the base price before any discount.
So in your case, as you say, your base bill price will increase to £18.46, and you will receive 50% discount off that during the term of the promo.
