O2 is a true disaster of a network in the southwest. Now since evening today no network at all. Zilch. Nada.

Anyone facing no network issues in England?

No network issues up here in Yorkshire, working as expected...

Could it be your sim card that is at fault, and have you checked https://status.o2.co.uk

Also have a look here Guide: How can I sort out my network issues? Guide: Is the network down for me or everyone?

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

And yesterday everyone was shouting at Three going down. Outages happen.

If O2 is not good in your region research and try others with payg sim cards, then move when the opportunity arise.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

The problem is that all four UK networks have good and bad areas, areas in which the signal is superb and places in which it is poor. The trick is to do your homework and to ensure that you are on the network that works best for you.

Even then, there will be "blips". These might be local and caused by a mast being out of action, or more widespread such as the Three outage on Friday. But there is little that we can do about that.
