Hi there, since Friday I haven’t been able to use internet anywhere I go. O2 shows up with full signal on 4g but it won’t work. I thought this might be a signal issue in the area, however, my dad who is in the same household also on O2 isn’t having any problems at all. Took the sim out and put it back in, had internet for a short while before it went again. Any ideas?

Hi Heather, yes is the answer. I have 4.31GB left of 6GB for this month and I never use all that.

you could try some troubleshooting

- put your sim in your dad's phone and see if the data works in there and vice versa with your dad's sim in your phone, that should tell you if its the device or the sim that's the issue

if your sim doesn't work in your dad's phone, it may be something to do with your account

let us know what happens when you try it

also,i assume you have tried restarting the device, etc already, if not, give that a go too

Hi Adnan, tried my sim in my dads phone and it worked fine. Using my dads sim in my phone didn’t work so this would suggest the issue isn’t the SIM card..

The handset is an iPhone 8. I upgraded in October and have been with O2 for a substantial amount of time now.

Hi Ryan. Thanks for the update on the phone. I’m guessing it’s recently been updated to the new IOS device.
If you go into general
Reset
Reset networks setting
This should help.
