No mobile data after porting my number from EE

I bought a phone contract from O2 and ported my number in from EE. Before the port, on the temporary number my mobile data was working fine, however after the port I’ve got no mobile data. It says ‘this information is not available at this time’ On myo2.

 

After calling customer services I was told the back office team will look into this and it’ll take 5 workings days to resolve. Is this normal? It’s not giving me much faith in O2, and am debating on returning the contract.

I’ve got no service and keep being told 5 working days for it to be fixed.

O2 customer service are useless!

Still no response from the O2 advisor helping me. I’m sure I’m being ignored! What dreadful service!

The person from o2 who was helping you, isnt on shift today..  And to be honest this is a quasi official support route, as its meant as a customer to customer forum, and not an instant support service.. 

 

I would expect you to hear from them tomorrow when they are back on tomorrow 

 

You can check on the Tech Support board for the rota.

Same boat here mate, promises of forms being filled out but no replies after that, I appreciate that the people here on the forum are doing their best to help but this is just not getting anywhere.

You need to call o2 on 0344 809 0202 or 202 from your o2 phone, as that will be better and quicker way to get help...

That was actually my first course of action, calling is even less effective than getting help through here, I've had at least 3 forms filled out for me that have so far resulted in nothing, I've been waiting since Friday the 10th for a resolution and no luck so far. I'm going on holiday this weekend and I've resorted to buying a PAYG SIM to cover my data while I'm abroad..

 

I even went into my local O2 shop and they said they couldn't do anything for me in there.

 

Really unhappy with this.

Can you have a look into this please for @Joshaholix  and @MiguelViana7  as they seem to be stuck in purgatory trying to sort the data issue out, and get back to using Mobile Data..
