Hi,

I haven’t had any service today (cell and data) in Central and East London. I’ve tried restarting my phone but I still get “no service”. I’ve made no changes to my phone or plan.

Anyone else had issues with their service?

Best,
W

Providing an update in case anyone finds this thread useful.

I paid for a CheckMEND report and turns out it got blacklisted.

I got the device from CeX who provide a 24 month warranty on all purchases. As my order is past 6 months old I should be able to get my iPhone 7 replaced or refunded at the current value.

Ordered a new phone from O2.

You should also have a word with CEX @wpmk. Their records should show who the seller was. It's up to them to sort out this type of issue.

It appears the person who sold the phone to CEX went on to report it lost or stolen a few months later as part of an insurance scam.

That wont reflect well on CEX if this happens with phones they sell.

This happens regularly I'm sure as cex already have a process in place to deal with such occurances.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Either that or a refund as @wpmk states they have ordered a phone from O2.

Yes, I’ve emailed CeX customer services today about next steps. A replacement phone or refund to the current value is fine with me, but I’m keen to see how helpful they are during this process.

Will report back in case anyone on else an O2 has this issue with CeX.

Thanks @wpmk

It will be interesting for others to hear how CEX deal with this.

I don't expect any issues with them but good luck anyway.

CeX customer service replied back to me and offered a refund. I’m in the process of arranging that with them.

My new phone arrived from O2 today and Face ID isn’t working. Confirmed with Apple Support that it’s a hardware issue so looks like I’ll have to wait for a replacement again!

Not much luck this week with phones.
