New contract, same number?

Evening all, just finished my 24m contract, switched (automatically via mobiles.com) to an O2 SIM only contract.

Now I've seen a good deal on a new O2 contract. Can I keep my number if I purchase this technically as a 'new customer'? Or will I have to port over to another supplier, then port again for this new contract?

Just call customer service when you get the new contract and ask them to migrate your number to it.
