New SIM query

Hi, I’ve just upgraded to a SIM only contract after purchasing a new phone and I’m awaiting my new SIM. Do I just pop my new SIM into my new phone when I get it? Or is there anything else I should be doing? Thanks for your help!

Were you an O2 customer previously or new to O2?

Do you want to keep your old number?

Your sim  should come ready to pop into your phone and work immediately.

If you were with O2 previously and want to keep your number, then you need to do a sim swap

When you upgrade your number is automatically transferred to the new contract, which is applied to your current SIM card.
