Moving to Florida for the Summer

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi

My mate is on O2 Payg (Think its about £22 a month for his package).

I am moving to Florida for the Summer, keeping my number the same as I have a reduced tariff on 3 to call/text UK numbers at no charge.

Can my mate reply to my texts with him being on O2 in the UK and me being on 3 in the USA? (I'm keeping my UK number the same while out there). Will o2 charge him outwith his payg allowance to text my number eventhough my number is of UK origin?

Not bothered about phone calls as I can phone him.

Thanks for your help slight_smile

Calls would also comr from his allowance at no extra cost. The only charges would be to you as the recipient. However if you have a free overseas plan there should be no cost to you either.

Any texts to a UK number will be the same as if the phone was still in the UK.
