Move number from one O2 contract to another O2 contract

Hello,


I've recently opened a new contract with O2 (to get a new phone that I wanted at a good price.)

I already have an existing contract with O2.


I want to move my number from my current phone to the new phone, and cancel the existing contract. There is no charge for cancelling my existing contract.

 

However, O2 are only dealing with limited calls for urgent situations (stolen phones, fraud etc)

 

Am I able to do everything I wish to above without their assistance ?  Can someone please explain how.

 

I don't wish to pay for two contracts!

You need customer service to migrate your number.

Just choose any option to get to speak to someone.

You need to call them and ask to migrate your number to the new contract. That will end the existing contract

Call 8am is the best time

Automated hang up right now, so I'll call at 8am as suggested.
