Lost click and collect order

Hi all,

 

So I upgraded my phone via a pre-order for the Google Pixel 9 to collect in store on 22/08/24. Up until this date, my order tracking says ‘Processing’ and ‘In Transit’. I’ve called the store and they say despite having received deliveries, my phone is not there. Called O2 customer services, they say they are dealing with delays from changing warehouses and fulfilment centres etc. I believe the phone will get delivered eventually, however I cannot get a clear cut answer from my chosen click and collect store as to whether they receive deliveries on a Saturday? I would assume they do as you can click and collect to arrive next day (that product must come from somewhere) so does anyone know if O2 stores get deliveries on a Saturday? Or has anyone had an experience like this previously? Thank you in advance!

Im thinking the same, preordered the 512GB 9 Pro XL - But got another text 30 mins ago saying its delayed.

 

Don't think preordering is worth it as the whole point to preorder is getting the device day of release.
