Keep my old number

I phoned o2 to keep my old number on my new monthly sim but it’s been over 24 hours now and the old sim still works and nothings changed over, not sure if i need to do something or just keep waiting.

If you are porting in your number from another network, the earliest it will happen is Monday, as ports dont happen over weekends.. And you will get a text with a date when the port will happen. 

 

If you are doing a sim swap they usually complete in 24hours. 

If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this
