Hi guys
So I have been on O2 for years and am happy with phone & contract, but thought I would explore a few options for my upgrade.
I am currently on £10.83/month for 300 any-network mins and Unlimited texts.
I'm looking at the cashback option for my upgrade - but just wanted to check that I've understood it before I click 'go'.
I can choose a tariff for the upgrade which is £14/month for 24 months for 200 minutes and Unlimited texts and £150 cashback - as I understand it, this cashback will be added as credit to my bill and therefore I won't be charged from my bank account until this credit has been used up?
So on the new tariff I would pay (£14 x 24 months)= £336 total - £150 cashback = £186.
(I know I'm losing 100 mins a month but I looked at a few of my bills and I never go over about 150 anyway)
If I kept with my current tariff I would pay (£10.84 x 24 months) = £260.
So I would be saving about £75 over two years?
Is this correct?

but do remember that if you use 50 extra mins then that will cost 35p a min so £17.50 if 50 used outside allowance
