Realistically the competition authorities are likely to give a takeover the nod as there are currently 5 players in the market. In Germany they are trying to consolidate to just 3 as I believe they are in the Netherlands.

Re 41%, 3 recently issued a press release saying that they had 41% share of all data use and I think 11% of the uk mobile market overrall.
