I want my GOD DAMN MONEY BACK THAT O2 STOLE!

Anonymous

OK long story short!

-I had a ridiculously good number (literally only had 0,7,8!!)

-After my contract finished, it turned to a PAY AS YOU GO

-Got a new contract and didn't switch over the number for personal reasons

-Now, I never used the PAYG for AGES, literally, maybe a year plus.

-I still had credit on it, and no I don't remember how much (to the nearest 50p...)

I called them up, they said to get my number, I need to know my security password (nope forgot that) and nope I have no idea how much credit I have, it's been ages!

-Sorry we can't help you!

WTF! Then how do I claim my money back, do they just get to keep it? Should I just pay a crackhead to steal a phone from O2 for justice? (jk)

It's been inactive for probably 2+ years now. Surely they would've recycled the number? I'll try giving them a call tomorrow.

So you neglect this number for 2+ years, you don't remember the security password to even check if the number is still available, but it's all O2's fault because they stole your money, which you don't even know what the exact amount is. Have I got that right?

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

If its over 2 years inactive I think the chances of getting it back are minimal now. I can't imagine why you would think this is any fault of O2's?

Hi MADASHELL,

Maybe putting your request in writing to O2 for them to again check this out for you.

Add as much information as possible.
