What problem are you having in getting your new phone working?

As you just put your Sim in the phone, and follow the setup screens
- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

To activate a new sim, you need to do a sim swap, starting from your old phone / sim
