Hi
I've just upgraded my phone and part of the package was £10 Google play reward. Can anyone confirm how I receive this? My parcel arrived today and says it should have a Google play leaflet in it but it doesn't 😞 Does this mean I'm missing a code to redeem, or does it get credited via my bill? Thanks

I'm having a similar issue to a number of people. I got the Galaxy S6 which came with the £50 Google Play offer. After a few weeks I chased it up via the online chat and was advised that I'd have a code emailed to me with 'it takes 2-24 hours to receive but for you I'll do on urgent basis'

 

I left it three or four days and tried the live chat again, I was advised by someone else that the last advisor was unable to create the code due to system error and so it'd be forwarded to the concerned team. I had the following details from the chat

 

o2: I've forwarded the details to our concerned team and they'll get back to you with the positive result within 5 working days.

o2: I'm also arranging £5.00 credit as goodwill gesture for the inconvenience caused to you.
o2: Credit will reflect on your bill under recent charges within 24 hours.
o2: Result will be in positive.
o2: You can take this chat as confirmation.
 
I've not heard anything back and haven't seen anything about the goodwill credit, this was before New Year. I'm hesitant to call again and chase up, feels as though I'm being fobbed off a little to be honest.

@ajscc from personal experience any credits won't show up on your account until your bill is generated. have you had a bill since the live chat in your post?

 

not sure about the rewards part, but @Toby has managed to resolve a few members issues, so hopefully he can work his magic again...

It does sound as if you are being fobbed off @Anonymous. It seems many people have struggled to get this reward. Not sure if @Toby could look into this for you....??
