Day 5:
We’re setting up your Apple Watch on the O2 network and we’ll text you when it’s all done. If you don’t receive a text within 24 hours, call 202 for free from your O2 mobile, quoting reference code 08.
3 o2 shops, phone calls into 202 no one has done anything to help. I’ve unpaired the Watch, restored from back up and set up as a new watch!
help please :,(

This sounds like a tip that @Dave-O2 could put into the Activate Apple Watch Guide to help others with error code 08 - very useful info, thank you, @carwynf 👍🏼

Thanks for the tag @pgn and for the information @carwynf 👍
I've now updated the Activate Apple Watch Guide with these details 😁

You won't get a reply for @Dave-O2 for some time as he is currently on paternity leave.
Your first step is to work through Activate Apple Watch Guide as mentioned above.
If you cannot resolve your problem, you need to contact O2. Unfortunately, this is a customer to customer community so we cannot access your account or offer other direct help.
You can message O2 on social media :-
Facebook : https://o2uk.co/O2CFB
X (previously known as Twitter) : https://o2uk.co/O2CTW
Instagram : https://o2uk.co/O2CIG
The social media team are based in the UK and have a good record of solving customer problems.
A complete schedule of how to contact O2 is in :-

Hoping someone can help, maybe @Dave-O2
Ive been stuck on the spinning activating wheel for the past few weeks but realised it could be down to having multiple lines. These have now been split so I’ve unpaired my watch and gone through set up but have come across the error 8 code.
Does my Apple Watch account need resetting or something?
TIA

Your message is unlikely to be seen by Dave until Monday @Jonny_Stuart. In the meantime, this might help :-

@Jonny_Stuart wrote:Thanks. I’ve been through the guide and also CS are of no help.
Will wait for Dave-O2 hopefully
Actually, from memory, the Activate Apple Watch Guide directs you to contact the O2 Social Media team, not CS for help with watch and phone pairing,@Jonny_Stuart - if you have not done that, the links just below take you ot the direct message parts of X or Facebook - pick one and stick with it. It will also give Dave something he can refer to to see what has been advised/attempted. Good luck!
