Ending contract

I want to end my contract which is due to expire in next few days. Do I ask for the phone to be unlocked first and thrn ask for the PAC code? I am moving onto a sim only 1 month rolling contract deal with another network. Also does anybody know the best way to get help from O2 during the COVID pandemic, every avenue Ive tried Ive had no success. There is no chat, tried the text but they wont send the pac as I have 2 other phones linked to my account and I have no idea, nor can find, any indication as to when 202 is open! Driving me insane!!! Thanks in advance.

However, as you have more than one phone on your account, you will need to contact O2. Numerous numbers in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support 

The best number to call is 0800 587 4005.

 

Is the phone locked? O2 haven't been locking phones since June 2018.

Thank you. I got in just in time, my contract ends 29.05.20 so unlocking shouldnt be a problem. I will give them a call on the number you gave. Thanks again.
