Early upgrade through CPW

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

I'm due an early upgrade from today and want to take advantage of Carphone Warehouse's deal on the Note 3 for £27 a month and £55 cashback through quidco. I'm currently on O2 and the deal at CPW is O2 also

My questions are

1. If I upgrade through CPW will it be a new contract with a new number?

2. Can I port my old number from one O2 contract to another?

3. What will happen to my last remaining month of my current contract?

Thanks in advance....I've search the forum prior to posting and cannot find anything similar!

There is no need to port your number as you're staying with O2, CPW should do all that's needed.

Your O2 account will be adjusted as required.

Hi

if it's an upgrade, you should keep your number, if not, CPW can help you with keeping your number, so yes, you can port your old number.

If this is going to be a new contract, after you upgrade, o2 will charge you your final bill, I think you still have to let o2 know that you're taking a phone with CPW. You don't want to be charged for 2 contracts, do you

Hope this helps.

Upgrade just upgrades your current account, no matter where you do it.
Your number will automatically port across and there will be no fee as you are eligible for a 1 month early upgrade.
Just make sure they put it through as an upgrade and not a new contract which has been known in the past.
