That is a question you would have to put to o2.

We are all customers here.

But if you take a deal else where and it is on o2 network o2 have not lost you as a customer and pushed the onus for warranty etc to the retailer (and the purchase price of handset from manufacturer).

iPhone 11 Pro 256gb on unlimited data
iPad Pro 12.9” 2020 256gb refresh o2 family discount

My first mobile was in 1995 a CM-R111 from sony on Cellnet.

Hi

The prices of the iPhones (pay as you go) on o2 are exactly the same as directly from Apple

Only difference, iPhones from Apple come SIM free

Some are, some aren't. As with everything you should shop around for the best deals. My SP was £60 cheaper than anywhere else I could find at the time I bought it. Paid £240 from O2 and it was £300 everywhere else. But, my S3 was £40 cheaper from CPW.

You can't buy on refresh from apple and the difference is £40 which is cheap credit.

I Agree with MI5

You can buy an iPhone from Apple on finance but you will end up paying nearly 100quid more in the end

Compare that to the cost of credit from Apple!

Edit: apologies it's £50 more, but still cheap credit.

Apple's finance rate is 14.9%

You really are not getting the point,  the phones are more expensive.  When upgrading we the customers are looking for a good fair price on handsets and yes we look around at prices and seem to always find them cheaper else where.  Does o2 not want to keep their customers ?
