my account always has the money in it, i set aside more than enough for my bills every month. i talked to some support guys last week to check and set up the debit again on my account and nothing happened when my billing date rolled around. i'm with monzo, so is this the problem? i can't think of any other reason.

O2 used to have a problem with Monzo Direct Debits several years ago but apparently it was fixed, perhaps it has re-emerged.
There's several major companies who still have issues with Monzo DDs.
My friend used to have a problem, ended up switching to Barclays to resolve it.
