Hi all, I have recently switched back from Sim Only to Pay Monthly and out of habit this month I paid my bill manually via debit card forgetting a direct debit was set up, this morning o2 have taken the direct debit payment too in addition to the manual monthly payment I made last week. Does anyone know what will happen? I don’t want to make both payments, will the DD be amended to 0 for next month or will it continue as normal? Or will I need to contact o2 to amend this? Thanks

It depends when you paid did you pay the airtime bill separate and the device plan ? As they are separate in myo2 if you made an extra device plan payment it should reduce all future payments but check in myo2

As you have found out unless you pay 7 clear days in advance the dd comes out you can leave it as a balance to cover next months bill

Thank you ! Yes, I was stupid, completely forgot ! With the device payment, will it just not take a payment next month on that or will the ‘additional payment’ I have made just come off the remaining oweing amount for the device?
