Can anyone advise why my data usage although working from home and using wifi has been all used up pretty much with quite a few days to go in the month? This doesn’t make sense!

@Lins

If your wifi drops out for any reason, your phone will revert to using mobile data.

You should always turn off mobile data when using wifi to prevent this from happening.

Also, if your phone has a wifi assist function, that should also be turned off.

Thank you. That makes sense seeing virgin has been on and off. Really frustrating and annoying that it obviously doesn’t automatically pick up wifi when back up which seems to be the issue as it means that I have to be careful when now being out. I have to have wifi assist as the signal at times at home is appalling. Thank you again

I'm having the same problems currently with Virgin @Lins

Many others I know are the same also.

Had two VM drop outs in the last couple of weeks.
One was back up by the morning, but the other took until mid afternoon.
Normally very good - can only remember 4 cases and these were all wide spread.
