I'm sorry, we have not been able to unlatch your device at this time.
The reason given is:

This is not an O2 device, it will not be possible for us to provide an
unlatching code.

Thank you,

O2 Customer Service

Hi @Mobily

Did you upgrade to your latest phone direct through O2 or a 3rd party, ie Carphone Warehouse? Also have you tried updating phone details through MyO2

http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2?

Finally, have you spoken to customer services

http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus to correct the information held on your latest phone, if MyO2 didn't work for some reason?

If you have done both of the above without success, please come back to the forum and we will tag one of our community managers to see if they can help.

In the meantime, good luck and welcome to the forum Welcome

That message from O2 normally means the phone is unlocked, especially when bought through a 3rd party and also, O2 have been providing unlocked phones or around 6 months now. Try a different network sim in the phone.

@Mobily you can edit the phone details yourself by clicking on the small pencil icon next to the phone name in your MyO2.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
