I recently ported my old number to o2 and my monthly data is now showing as 1gb instead of 3gb (I have a 2gb bolt on) any ideas? I’ve had nothing but hassle from o2 since joining porting my number was a nightmare

So why doesn’t my monthly allowance show as 3gb like it did before I ported? I’m confused

It's just the way the system works.
You'll get 3gb until September next year, then it expires.

Thanks for your help. Seems like a bizarre way of doing business to me. You have 3 gbs but the app will show you only have 1 go. Luckily I’m still in cooling period so back to giffgaff I think. Far easier

Once you use the 1st 1gb the bolt on will start and the data counter will count down from 2gb.

I honestly don't see a problem here. You have the 3GB however it appears. Why the need to change network? Pedantic I think.
