I have a duel-sim phone. When connected using the O2 sim I can't access certain websites (e.g. theguardian.co.uk and theverge.com)

The error I get in Chrome is: DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

When I use my EE sim, I don't have this problem.

Any ideas?

@Mateus we've had a few reported issues with DNS errors recently.

I suggest you report the issue to customer services for it to be investigated http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I've just chatted with O2 support and they suggested it may be related to the age restrictions.

It'll take 24 hrs for this to be removed but why is The Guardian's site classed as 18+?!

I just tested going to a well known 18+ site (rhymes with corn nub) and that loaded fine!

I'm sure if you can get on there you don't have any restrictions on your account wink
As usual, O2 are denying any issues but just have a search through some of the recent posts and you'll see some random issues like yours.

My thread. And yes i get same error on Guardian site. Its not age restriction issues. If you had age restriction on, it redirects you to an o2 page anyway
